This Online Returns and Refund Policy serves as a mutual agreement between Big Bang Fireworks and the consumer. By completing a purchase through our online store, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this online policy.
Big Bang Fireworks is committed to providing high-quality pyrotechnics. However, due to the hazardous nature of these products and federal legal restrictions regarding their transport, our online store policy differs from standard retail goods.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: NO PHYSICAL RETURNS
In strict accordance with federal, state, and local Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) shipping regulations, Big Bang Fireworks cannot accept physical returns of unused fireworks from online customers. It is illegal for a consumer to ship fireworks back to our facility without proper HAZMAT certification. Consequently, our online policy focuses on issuing refunds or store credits for valid claims rather than physical exchanges.
1. Online Shipping Damage & Carrier Liability
Our Shipping Partner: R&L Carriers
All online orders are fulfilled via R&L Carriers. Please be advised that Big Bang Fireworks has no affiliation with R&L Carriers. They are an independent third-party shipping company.
Liability Disclaimer
Once merchandise leaves our facility and is accepted by the carrier, liability for any loss or damage that occurs during transit lies solely with the shipping company (R&L Carriers). Big Bang Fireworks is not responsible for damage caused by the carrier’s handling or transport.
Required Steps for Online Shipping Damage Claims:
To protect your rights and ensure a successful claim with R&L Carriers, you must follow these precise steps. Failure to do so may result in the carrier denying your claim.
1. Inspect Upon Arrival:
Thoroughly inspect the external packaging (boxes, shrink wrap, and pallets) immediately upon delivery while the driver is still present.
2. Take Pictures:
Capture clear, dated photos of any visible damage to the external packaging, pallets, and the product within the boxes.
3. Document Prior to Signing:
You MUST note any damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt or handheld device BEFORE you sign for the shipment. Ensure the damage is documented on the official paperwork. Your signature without a damage notation confirms you received the goods in acceptable condition.
4. Concealed Damage:
if the boxes appear fine but you find damage inside after the driver leaves, you must contact R&L Carriers immediately to report "concealed damage."
5. File Your Claim:
All shipping claims must be handled directly through R&L Carriers’ official platform and proper channels.
2. The Big Bang "No Dud" Guarantee
If your online shipment arrives without shipping damage, but you encounter a manufacturing issue, Big Bang Fireworks will honor our commitment to quality.
Eligible "No Dud" Scenarios:
- Pre-lighting Damage: Product damage occurring prior to lighting (factory defect or damaged packaging not caused by shipping).
- Ignition Failure: Fireworks that did not fully ignite or malfunctioned during use (e.g., a multi-shot cake that stopped halfway).
Process for "No Dud" Claims:
You must report malfunctions or defects as soon as possible to be eligible for a resolution.
1. Document the Issue:
Take clear photos of the defective or malfunctioning product.
2. Email Evidence:
Send the pictures to support@realdealfireworks.com. Include your online order number and a brief description of the issue.
3. Call Big Bang Fireworks:
You must call us during business hours to discuss the issue firsthand. This allows us to verify the malfunction for safety and quality control.

Resolution:
If Big Bang Fireworks determines the product is defective or a genuine "dud," a refund or store credit will be issued for that specific product at our discretion.
3. Legal Terms & Conditions
To ensure a fair and sustainable agreement for both the consumer and the business, the following conditions apply to this online policy:
- 90-Day Limitation: No refunds or credits will be issued for any reason once 90 days have passed from the original date of the online purchase.
- Sole Discretion: All refunds and credits are granted at the sole and absolute discretion of Big Bang Fireworks. We reserve the right to determine if a product malfunctioned due to a manufacturing defect or improper user handling/storage.
- Right to Deny: Big Bang Fireworks reserves the right to deny a refund or credit for any reason we deem applicable, including failure to follow the reporting steps outlined in this online policy.
- Local Law Compliance: It is the consumer's sole responsibility to verify that fireworks are legal in their specific jurisdiction. Big Bang Fireworks is not responsible for, and will not issue refunds for, online orders confiscated by local authorities or law enforcement.
- Safety Clause: Never attempt to "re-light" a firework that failed to ignite. Wait at least 20 minutes, then douse the item in water. Big Bang Fireworks is not liable for injuries resulting from the improper handling of malfunctioning fireworks.
Big Bang Fireworks reserves the right to update or modify this online returns and refund policy at any time without prior notice.
